Victoria Beckham has stated her happiness at the fact that the fashion world is finally taking her designs seriously after her latest collection was warmly received in New York.
The former Spice Girl presented her third collection at the prestigious New York Fashion Week, opting for a downtown art gallery to showcase her latest designs.
Beckham’s spring/summer 2010 collection featured a range of fitted dresses, with an emphasis on adventurous colours and fabrics, with critics heaping praise on the simplicity of the designs.
Speaking after her New York show, the 35-year-old said: "I’m grateful that people are prepared to leave their preconceptions at the door and let the dresses speak for themselves.
"The sell-through has been amazing," she added.
However, the dresses in her range cost from £3,900 to as much as £9,000, though, according to the Daily Mail, online sales are strong.
At the same time, Mrs Beckham told Whoopi Goldberg on her show The View that her pout is natural and just the way her "face falls".
